It is very rare in today's music industry to come across a young artist with the same love, passion, and tenacity for music as displayed by country singer-songwriter Erin Kinsey. Whether it’s listening to her booming voice, or observing her skillful multi-instrumental abilities, it’s hard to imagine that Erin Kinsey only has four years under her belt. The now 15-year-old performer from Rockwall, Texas began her career at the mere age of 11, and since has been perfecting her craft under the tutelage of some of the biggest names in modern music. “Her voice is a technical marvel,” says vocal coach Brett Manning (Taylor Swift, Hayley Williams), and her instrumentalism has already earned her the recognition as an official artist of Taylor Guitars, Warrior Instruments, and Deering Banjos. Erin Kinsey began singing and playing guitar at the age of 11, and started performing in public as a solo singer-songwriter just a few months later. She made her debut performance in 2011 at Rockwall’s Got Talent, a citywide talent show, winning third place in a pool of over sixty contestants. Just one year later Kinsey passed the audition to play at the historic Bluebird Café in Nashville, and performed the room as a featured songwriter at the age of 13. “Erin is like a locomotive; fueled by her excellent songs and exceptional vocal and musical talent. Mix in her extraordinary commitment to the process of development and I think she is unstoppable. Definitely the real deal” according to live music producer Tom Jackson (Taylor Swift, The Band Perry). In the summer of 2014, Kinsey and her newly found band started making waves both locally and in Music City, headlining noteworthy venues such as Love and War in Texas and The Gaylord Texan, and making appearances at CMA Fest in Nashville, and The Dallas International Film Festival. "Your first thought when you first see Erin perform is, 'Wow, I've never seen so much talent in someone so young.' Your second thought is, 'It's rare to see this much talent in an artist at any age!” says multi-hit songwriter Clay Mills (Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It by Darius Rucker). Presently, the Erin Kinsey Band is gearing up for their European debut at London’s own O2 Arena. They will be playing alongside some of country’s best including Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood as part of the internationally renowned, Country to Country Festival. Expect big things from Erin Kinsey in 2016, as she is one young-musician not to be overlooked
